Position Summary: The Production Associate is responsible for operating various pieces of machinery (Grinders, drill presses, lathes, mills, benders, CNC Machines), assembling product, and packaging finished goods. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Create quality products according to drawings, travelers.
Inspect parts for accuracy and quality standards.
Perform changeovers as needed to ensure production efficiency.
Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location.
Understand and follow travelers
Maintain accurate production records
Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
Performs first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections in compliance with quality protocols.
Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
Document completed maintenance tasks
Perform daily machine maintenance as required.
Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Adhere to safety regulations and participate in regular safety training.
Keep a clean workspace.
Will be required to cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.

High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Position requires good mathematical ability and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and travelers.
Position requires the ability to operate precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures.
