Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Position is 100% in office.

General Summary of Position
Shipper/Receiver is responsible to ensure timely and accurate outbound freight. This position interacts with internal departments, customers and uses various shipping systems. Excellent verbal and written communication is required. Must have strong attention to detail and initiative. This position will involve shipping, labeling, light assembly, packing and inventory control.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Packages products for shipment.
- Participates in inventory control and ensures accuracy.
- Creates shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, required customs documents, packing slips and waybills using UPS, FEDEX, DHL and customer specific portals.
- Ships goods ensuring deadlines are achieved and complete documentation is included.
- Manages and collects quotes for all incoming and outgoing freight.
- Enters final freight quote into QuickBooks within 24 hours of them being received.
- Packages, pallets and crates for freight shipments.
- Receives goods into the warehouse and enters item receipts into QuickBooks.
- Performs tasks including receiving, storing and distributing materials in a safe manner.
- Ensures timely follow-up to delayed or pending items to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Responsible for checking the final order before it is packaged.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness in a safe manner within the shipping department.
- May maintain and support shipping related equipment. (shipping computer, scale)
- Complies with all Dooley Gasket and Seal Inc. policies and procedures and PA laws.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Must have strong attention to detail and organization.
- Detail-oriented including experience with both manual and electronic recordkeeping systems.

- Ability to take and follow directions.
- Basic math and reading skills required.
- Ability to work until 5pm daily for shipment pick-ups and overtime when needed.
- Previous forklift certification preferred.
