Lead from the Floor. Build Strong Teams. Drive Quality at Scale.
At Village Handcrafted Cabinetry, production leadership is hands-on, visible, and deeply connected to quality. For more than 30 years, we have built our reputation on craftsmanship, accountability, and teamwork. Our production leaders play a critical role in translating that standard into daily execution on the shop floor.
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee fabrication operations and lead a skilled team producing high-quality custom cabinetry and wood products.

Production Supervisor - Fabrication

This is a hands-on production leadership role. We are looking for a Production Supervisor who is present on the floor, drives daily output, and takes ownership of getting work out on time. This role is best suited for someone who leads from the floor, makes decisions in real time, and keeps work moving without needing constant direction.

The right person sets the pace, keeps people focused, and ensures production runs smoothly every day.

What you will own
  • Daily production execution across CNC, fabrication, and build
  • On-time completion of work orders
  • Clear priorities and work assignments on the floor
  • Accountability for quality, pace, and follow-through
  • Early identification and resolution of production issues
  • Consistent execution of established processes and expectations
What you will do
  • Be present on the production floor every day directing work and removing obstacles
  • Assign work, adjust priorities, and resequence jobs to keep production moving
  • Step in hands-on when machines, materials, or workflow issues arise
  • Ensure jobs are completed accurately and ship on time
  • Set clear daily expectations for performance and behavior
  • Address performance, attendance, and quality issues promptly and directly
  • Reduce rework, downtime, and missed deadlines over time
  • Reinforce consistent methods and best practices across the team
  • Train and coach employees to meet production and quality expectations
  • Lead and develop a team of 8 to 10 production employees
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and cross-training
  • Partner with leadership and HR on performance and employee matters
What we are looking for
  • A hands-on production leader who has run manufacturing or fabrication floors
  • Experience supervising fabrication, woodworking, CNC, or similar environments
  • Comfort making decisions and adjusting priorities throughout the day
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to read drawings and translate job requirements into action
  • Direct, clear communication style with production teams
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership
This role is not a fit if:
  • You prefer managing through reports instead of being on the floor
  • You are uncomfortable stepping in to solve problems yourself
  • You are looking for a desk-based or purely strategic role
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment
• Must be fit for duty and able to make sound, well-reasoned decisions

Schedule, Location, and Travel
• Full-time, on-site position
• Based in Lansdale, PA
• Minimal travel, up to 5 percent

Benefits
• Competitive compensation
• Paid Time Off
• Retirement plan with company match
• Self-funded medical insurance
• Stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment
