General Summary of Position
The Warehouse Associate will primarily be responsible for maintaining organized and efficient inventory storage. Handle incoming and outgoing shipments for the warehouse; store and distribute materials within the warehouse, assist coworkers with handling inventory and operate warehouse equipment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pack items appropriately to avoid damage, including building/stacking pallets.
- Verify outgoing shipment to ensure correct shipment of orders.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack or hand truck to move items.
- Maintain equipment is in good working order.
- Label and store incoming material.
- Maintain clean and organized inventory shelves and racks.
- Assist machine operators with handling raw material.
- Basic housekeeping of discarding packing materials and pallets.

- Must have strong attention to detail and organization.
- Detail-oriented including experience with both manual and electronic recordkeeping systems.
- Able to communicate, write and read English.
- Ability to take and follow directions.
- Basic math and reading skills required.
- Previous forklift certification preferred.
