We assist individuals and families facing food insecurity and homelessness, ensuring that fundamental needs are met through our comprehensive housing and food programs.
Our 2026 Strategic Priorities Include:
- Housing and supporting approximately 500 families.
- Providing housing counseling to over 400 individuals.
- Serving more than 24,000 people through our Food Programs.
About the Role:
- Assist in all steps of weekly food distributions at our Penndel, PA pantry; including ordering, stocking, storing, cleaning, set-up, break-down, pick-ups, etc.
- Help with data collection and final reporting
- Help provide information and support to external constituents and volunteers
- Uphold the Bucks County Housing Group’s mission by interacting thoughtfully and respectfully with pantry patrons and volunteers.
Who You Are:
- Interested in hunger and poverty issues, community education and building stronger, food secure communities
- Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and ages, including kids and teens
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and comfortability using new technology as needed
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently, with or without supervision
- Ability to collaborate and work well with diverse groups of people
- Have personal transportation when needed

Additional requirements to note:
- Routinely required to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Some local travel and field trips are necessary.
- Must pass State and FBI background check
