Role Summary/Purpose:  Our client has an opening for a Case Intake Specialist to gather and coordinate data on incoming cases..  Responsibilities include:
 
  • Answering questions and concerns from prospects and clients related to the intake process of mass tort and single event cases.
  • Preparing communications to clients and strategic partners containing electronic intake packets for new lien resolution matters..
  • Reviewing submitted intake packets for completeness, coordinating with clients/strategic partners to obtain missing materials, and forwarding complete materials to appropriate departments (within company or to strategic partners) to commence work requested.
  • Organizing incoming data and preparing the documents for submission to necessary vendors
  • Updating a database with the information obtained during the lien intake review / process
  •  Qualified candidates will possess the following:
     
  • Decisive, with the ability to respond to changing conditions quickly within the context of the larger company culture and processes
  • Excellent computer aptitude, with at least intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel and Outlook software, along with good working knowledge of PCs and Windows O/S (some experience with use of Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team, with little supervision
  • Ability to concentrate and produce a high volume of work in a short time period, handling multiple priorities, while meeting tight deadlines
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent
  • Experience in the regulatory, legal or insurance business sector is preferred; training as a paralegal/legal assistant or insurance claims adjuster is helpful
