A Company in Montgomeryville,  PA is adding a new  Director of E-Commerce position to their team.   
Our client is looking for someone with great communication skills that can translate their insights and observations into clear and meaningful stories and actionable data - with the ability to blend the technical side of things while understanding the user and user experience. A critical thinker who is curious, open-minded, and versatile. 

You will own end-to-end promotional placement - from ideation and curation, to pitching and securing the placement, to execution. We are looking for an outgoing, memorable personality that can analyze and understand promotional trends and shopping behaviors, identify our customer’s needs, and leverage our promotional activities and catalog to develop and implement informed and relevant offers in top performing, strategic placements.
Delightful and deliberate phone and interpersonal skills are an absolute must and you must be nimble, self-sufficient and willing to hustle to get the job done right. Proactive, detail-oriented, organized, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere and well-versed in marketing, advertising, and eCommerce.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of the Affiliate Marketing Program in order to drive revenue growth and qualified traffic to the site.
  • Conceptualize promotional offers and secure relevant placement on third party marketplace and affiliate channels.
  • Develop and merchandise marketing opportunities informed by the promotional calendar, sell-through and aging reports, new arrivals, closeout opportunities, collaboration with content and purchasing teams, and anecdotal customer feedback.
  • Maintain partner promotional calendar and communicate to internal/external partners.
  • Bring passion and creativity to suggest new, out-of-the-box concepts and ideas to drive exposure, interest, and conversion - leveraging channel-specific marketing levers, new categories, themed events, and third party marketing tools and promotions.
  • Accelerate sales and sell through velocity by leveraging marketing vehicles and merchandising levers unique to each sales channel.
  • Build relationships with key players on marketplace and affiliate account teams and work with partners to develop and implement marketing plans to achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Curate and execute engaging communication to partners through newsletters, direct emails, chats, and phone calls.
  • Merchandise all placement opportunities on third party marketplace and affiliate channels, ensuring best-in-class presentation of the brand.
  • Proactively build the number of affiliate partners through outreach, recruiting and relationships to achieve monthly growth goals.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and commission structures for affiliates.
  • Develop and implement a segmentation plan for the affiliate network.
  • Get partners excited and engaged about  offers/products/services.
  • Monitor affiliate and marketplace activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate performance and ROI.
  • Track reports for relevant program metrics such as number of affiliate partners recruited, conversion rates, number of conversions generated per affiliate, ROI, ROAS, etc.
  • Conduct ongoing reporting to track promotional performance, engagement, and sell through to inform future initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analyses within the promotional landscape.
  • Maintain competitive edge by staying on top of and ahead of current market trends and pricing.
  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Affiliate Marketing. Marketplace relationship experience a plus
  • Experience in directly negotiating, implementing, and optimizing affiliate campaigns
  • Experience independently prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding Affiliates
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, and conversion tactics
  • Understanding of affiliate motivations, drives, and the ability to align with company goals
  • Proven ability to get the job done, including strong work ethic and time management skills, positive attitude, problem-solving skills, cooperative team player, good communication skills, self-confidence, and ability to accept and learn from criticism and adapt to a changing environment.
