The testing and data processing infrastructure at the company is continuously expanding and improving to meet the needs of a growing research and development team.  The OLED Test Engineer will be part of a professional team engaged in the development and maintenance of custom built automatic testers for OLED materials and devices. They will also be involved in expanding, improving, and maintaining large SQL databases.
  • Develop GUI driven, Windows environment, software/hardware systems to control test equipment, data acquisition systems and similar devices, interfacing with and incorporating a variety of sensors, motors, etc.
  • Develop standalone or integrated custom data acquisition and analysis programs for a wide audience of both advanced and novice end users
  • Apply hands-on skills to assemble enclosures, wire circuits and devices, or to otherwise build test equipment and acquisition systems
  • Support existing Python, SQL, VEE Pro (similar to Labview), and similar custom software.
  • Interface with laboratory technicians and engineers to develop detailed list of requirements and software/hardware expectations
  • Rapidly provide customized software/hardware solutions in support of one-off, quick-turn testing needs
  • Create necessary support documentation and provide training (one on one and group)
  • Interface with, create and modify databases.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize a diversified workload of short term/long term projects
  • BS or MS degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience designing, building and troubleshooting of electronic and optical testing equipment.
  • Experience in OO programming and databases (Python/C#/C++, MSSQL/Redis)
  • Experience with web programming (HTML/Bootstrap/JS/JQuery/WebSockets, MQTT/RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with high level data acquisition and processing
  • Ability to interface and control the scientific instrumentation to automatically acquire, process, and store the data.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in an efficient, proactive manner.
  • Demonstrated track record of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Knowledge of organic thin film devices manufacturing and testing is a plus.
