The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the look of the store and welcoming customers by greeting them in person and via the telephone as well as directing customers to the correct salesperson or department. This position assists with resolutions for any customer issues including writing up work orders when necessary. This position works closely with all sales staff and is responsible for all schedules such as staffing, trainings, and store coverage. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for all demo inventory and store transfers, as well as administrative tasks required by the home office and to support the sales team.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Answering incoming phone calls from customers as well as welcoming customers by greeting them. Directs visitors/customers to the right department, sales person, or manager
  • Maintaining the store look and display
  • Ordering, maintaining and putting away supplies for store
  • Available for local errands including the pickup of equipment from Company warehouses.
  • Handle scheduling for salesman, including trainings and information sessions
  • Make sure demo inventory is correct, labeled and accounted for
  • Handle transferring of product to and from store. Whether VIA truck or personal drop off.
  • Full and clear understanding of Inventory to handle work orders, repairs and ra’s
  • Change price tags when needed of store inventory
  • Help plan, set up and run events.
  • Able to work on weekends when needed.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, results-driven professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Candidates must have a minimum of three years previous administrative support experience. Experience in Audio/Video industry is a plus but not required.
An Associates or Bachelor’s degree is also a plus, but is not required.

Candidates must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and math skills and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. Candidate must be a self-starter, as well as have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. Candidate must be able to lift 25lbs and climb a store level ladder to retrieve or put inventory away. Design skills are a plus but not required.
